seem是系动词。中文含义有“好像”、“似乎”、“看来”,用以推断;还有“感到好像”、“觉得似乎”等含义,用以缓和语气;还可翻译为“看来好像”,表示不确切或客气。
seem既可以作系动词也可以做不及物动词,就像我们熟悉的go、get等,它们也是系动词和不及物动词.
例：
1.作系动词,后面接形容词或名词：
It seems very interesting.那似乎很有意思.
He seems happy.他好像挺开心的.
2.作不及物动词,后面常接as if,as though,that,to do：
It seems as if/as though it's going to rain.似乎天要下雨了.
It seems that she knows the truth.她好像知道事实.
